Culver’s held their annual “Scoops of Thanks Day” last month on May 6th where customers can get a scoop of custard in exchange for a donation to FFA. This year the restaurant chain had almost 800 participating locations that brought in a total of $159,480.
All of the proceeds go to agriculture education through organizations like FFA. The fundraiser started off in 2015 and has collected over $650,000 according to a company spokesperson. This is a part of Culver’s Thank You Farmers Project, which brings attention to the nonstop work that farmers do every day to keep food on our tables and in our restaurants.
Currently, the program has raised over $1 million to support FFA and various other ag organizations.
