MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The seven-day-average of COVID-19 cases continued to fall on Thursday.
The state reported 185 new COVID-19 cases, making the seven-day case average fall to 149.
That’s a drop from the previous day at 162.
The percent positive by test also continues to trend down. It was listed as 1.6% Thursday.
DHS also reported no new deaths, making the seven-day average of new deaths, five.
Since the pandemic began, there have been 610,565 confirmed cases and 7,129 confirmed deaths in Wisconsin.
Meanwhile, the state’s vaccination rates continue to rise. The latest DHS data shows 48.1% of residents have received at least one dose, while 42.3% have completed the vaccination series.
