WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — After a year off due to COVID-19, live music is returning to Wausau’s 400 block this week.
Pacific Coast Highway will take the stage for the first Concert on the Square in 667 days, or nearly 100 weeks (August 21st, 2019).
The events will look much the same as years past. There will be food trucks on-site and carry-in coolers are welcome. Pets, smoking, tables, and tents are not.
Concertgoers are encouraged to not set blankets down before 4 PM to “reserve” their spot on the lawn. Any blankets placed before 4 PM will be removed and can be claimed at the Wausau Events office near the 400 block the next day.
Midwest Communications, the parent company of WSAU, is the title sponsor for Wednesday’s show. Tundraland and TDS Fiber will serve as title sponsors for this year’s series, which runs through August 18th when the Copper Box will close out the series.
