MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — Without a first round pick the Milwaukee Bucks were looking to add some depth to their roster on draft night. They also made a trade that sent their 2nd round pick (#31) to Indiana for two later picks.
Milwaukee then selected forward Alexander Mamukelashvili from Seton Hall and Georgios Kalaitzakis, a wing player from Greece.
Mamukelashvili is a seven footer who played four years at Seton Hall and was the Big East Player of The Year.
Kalaitzakis has played professionally in Greece for five years.
Other draft night picks with Wisconsin ties included Jalen Johnson taken by Atlanta. Also Micah Potter and Sam Hauser went undrafted but signed deals with Miami and Boston respectively.
