The Diversity Affairs Commission of the Marathon County Board has wasted taxpayer money for over a year on their campaign to paint Marathon County citizens as racists. They are hellbent on pushing the so-called ‘Community for All’ Resolution which will lead to preferential policies for groups at the expense of individual liberty. Evidently, for the leftists on the county board and their hapless supporters, equality under the law provided by the United States Constitution is not enough.
The County Board will deliberate on this dangerous resolution (page 79) AGAIN this Thursday, August 19 at 7pm in the Courthouse. As a citizen of Marathon County, you have one final opportunity to weigh in on this resolution. Their vote will take place next Tuesday, August 24 after this meeting.
Either attend the meeting in person this Thursday, August 19 at 7pm or send EVERY supervisor an email indicating your opposition to this destructive resolution. Tell them very plainly: “Vote AGAINST this resolution” and get back to the important work of the County Board. Also, be sure to call for the disbandment of the Diversity Affairs Commission.
