SHAWANO COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – Police say a 56-year-old Greenville man died and three others were injured after a crash in western Shawano County.
It happened on State Highway 29 near U.S. Highway 45 near Wittenberg around 5 p.m. Friday.
Authorities say the vehicle was pulling a travel trailer camper and witnesses on the scene say they saw a tire blowout on the camper.
The driver lost control of the vehicle and travel trailer camper which led to a rollover.
Both the vehicle and camper then caught on fire.
The 56-year-old Greenville man died in the crash.
Police say a 57-year-old Greenville woman was injured and received burns. Two boys from Clintonville were also injured and received burns. The degrees of injuries at the time for all three victims is unknown.
