Ronald Reagan famously said: “The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they’re ignorant; it’s just that they know so much that isn’t so.”
Why is it that Democrats are so easily manipulated by government? There are many answers to that question – none of which are flattering.
Unfortunately, the left’s natural inclination is to seek their marching orders from someone else, rather than relying upon their own intellect, common sense and critical thinking skills. For many reasons, they don’t seem to possess the confidence in their own judgment or capabilities and instead outsource their thinking and decision-making to someone else.
This ‘shamdemic’ has illuminated the number of people who place their blind faith in big government. Fear is a powerful motivator. And sadly, the left’s lack of faith in God is playing a significant role in perpetuating this Covid hysteria.
The phrase “do not fear” is written in the bible 365 times. That’s a daily reminder from God to live every day being fearless because we can put our trust in Him.
