OCONOMOWOC, WI (WSAU) — Republican candidate for Governor Rebecca Kleefisch has tested positive for COVID-19, her campaign has confirmed.
According to a spokesperson Kleefisch was attending Church in Hudson on September 12th when she was exposed to someone who had tested positive. Kleefisch tested positive herself four days later and has since canceled all campaign events. Though a spokesperson says she is not showing any major symptoms and is feeling fine.
Kleefisch has been vaccinated against COVID-19.
