MARSHFIELD, WI (WSAU) — A retirement reception will be held Friday for outgoing Marshfield Fire Chief Scott Owen.
The reception will be held Friday from 1 to 3 PM at the fire station.
Owen’s retirement was announced in September. He’s been with the department for more than 25 years.
His official retirement date will be in early January. In the meantime, the city’s police and fire commission will begin the search for a new Chief.
Marshfield is also without a Chief of Police since reaching a separation agreement with former Chief Rick Gramza back in March. Gramza is facing misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and sexual assault brought forward by a co-worker. That case is still making its way through the courts.
