MADISON, WI (WSAU) — Three Marathon County residents are facing charges related to a methamphetamine distribution ring that operated in the region in 2021.
Sarah Waggoner, 41, Victor Pennington, 26, and Lucas Ellwart, 28 are all facing the possibility of between five years and life in prison for multiple charges of distributing 50 to 500 grams of the drug in the region throughout the year.
All three are also facing charges of possession.
Waggoner, of Norrie, is facing a separate indictment for three specific incidents that occurred in April, May, and August of last year, though officials say the three were working together.
The indictments are the result of an investigation between the Central Wisconsin Narcotics Task Force and the Wausau Police Department along with officials from the DOJ.
