TOWN OF POLAR, WI (WSAU) — The Langlade County Sheriff’s Office has issued a be on the lookout for Terrie S. Markgraf, who went missing from her home on Monday.
The 54-year-old left in a Jeep Cherokee with Wisconsin plates 555 YBA and may be headed to Little Chute, the Mountain area of Oconto County, or eastern Langlade County.
In an update provided Wednesday morning, her friends and family say she has been upset about some recent news regarding her health and has multiple medical appointments scheduled over the next two weeks.
There was also concern that she may have a firearm with her, but her family says it appears all guns in the home are currently accounted for.
No detailed description of Markgraf was given, but officers say she does have two tribal tattoos on her left shoulder and lower back.
Officers say if you see her you should approach her with caution, check on her welfare, and call Sgt. Mike O’Neill or Detective Sgt. Justin Grones at the Langlade County Sheriff’s Office at 715-627-6419. Officers add she left her phone and purse at home, and her vehicle does not have tracking features.
