BROOKLYN, NY (WTAQ) — The man New York City Police say shot ten people on a crowded subway car on Tuesday has been arrested.
That was reported originally by CNN on Wednesday afternoon.
A Wisconsin Crime Alert was issued for 62-year-old Frank James on Wednesday due to his ties to the Milwaukee area.
NYPD Officials say that James set off a smoke device on a crowded subway car before opening fire. At least ten people were shot, but all are expected to survive.
There are a number of reports that James posted racist and black-nationalist videos on social media.
It’s believed he may have purchased some materials used in the smoke device in Wisconsin.
