WASHINGTON D.C. (METRO) – Wisconsin’s Republican U.S. Senator is dismissing reports about a slate of fake electors in his office on January 6th.
The House Committee on January 6th yesterday read text messages from one of Ron Johnson’s staffers on that day that explained they had a list of alternative electors. Vice President Mike Pence’s office said not to deliver that list.
Johnson yesterday said the list was delivered to him by someone in the House, they reached-out to the vice president, and dropped the list as soon as the VP said not to deliver it.
Johnson says he never saw the list, and called the whole thing a non-story.
