SHAWANO CO, WI (WTAQ) — A teenager is dead following a tragic fatal crash Sunday in Shawano County.
Sheriff’s officials there say that a 16-year-old boy was driving near Mill Road and Stony Curve road when they left the roadway and rolled over.
The car crashed sometime during the night but the driver, who was partially ejected from the vehicle, couldn’t call 911.
The steep incline of the ditch prevented passing cars from seeing the crash.
The driver was flown by helicopter to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and died.
The name of the driver hasn’t been released.
