MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The #5 ranked Wisconsin volleyball team swept #1 ranked Nebraska on Wednesday night at the UW-Fieldhouse.
The scores were 25-23, 25-23, 25-18. The Badgers held the Cornhuskers to a hitting percentage of .162
Sarah Franklin led Wisconsin with a match high 21 kills. Devyn Robinson had nine. Izzy Ashburn had 25 assists and 10 digs. Danielle Hart had nine blocks and Robinson had six.
It was the ninth staight match win for Wisconsin over Nebraska and broke an 11 match winning streak for the Cornhuskers. It was the ninth straight win for Wisconsin.
The Badgers, now 16-3, 10-1 in Big Ten, will host Minnesota at 5:30 pm on Saturday.
