EAST LANSING, MICH (WSAU) — The Wisconsin mens hockey team continues to stumble, dropping a 5-0 decision on Friday night at Michigan State.
The Badgers had a season-high 44 shots on goals but could not find the back of the net. Erik Middendorf scored two goals in a 15 second span in the first period to give the Spartans a 2-0 lead.
Jared Moe had 30 saves.
Wisconsin, now 2-7, 0-3 in Big Ten, play the Spartans again tonight at 5pm
The Badger football team hosts Maryland today. Badger Game Day begins at 9am on WSAU.
