MANILA (Reuters) – The Philippine economy expanded 7.6% in the third quarter from a year earlier, the state-run television network said on Twitter, stronger than the previous quarter’s revised 7.5% growth.
Analysts polled by Reuters had expected gross domestic product to grow 6.3% on an annual basis and 1% quarter-on-quarter.
