WISCONSIN (WTAQ-WRN) — Paul Ryan again advises Republicans against nominating Donald Trump for president.
The Former Speaker of the House and longtime Wisconsin congressman spoke Thursday at UW-Milwaukee, and said who his top choice for the GOP’s 2024 presidential nominee would be.
“That would be the person not named Donald Trump, so I don’t really have a dog in the fight.” said Ryan. “If we nominate Trump again, we’re gonna lose again. We know this. He will cost us another election, so I’m just excited about somebody not named Trump.”
Ryan was in Milwaukee to talk about a new book he’s edited.
