WISCONSIN (WTAQ-WRN) — Another civil lawsuit is being sought against Kyle Rittenhouse.
Attorneys for Gaige Grosskreutz filed the request Wednesday for more time to serve Rittenhouse with the suit.
Grosskreutz was shot and injured by Rittenhouse during the 2020 unrest in Kenosha following the officer-involved shooting of Jacob Blake.
The legal team for Grosskreutz is saying that Rittenhouse is purposefully trying to evade them.
The suit, like one filed by the father of one of two men Rittenhouse shot and killed that night, lists Rittenhouse as a defendant, as well as the city of Kenosha and local officials.
In 2021, Rittenhouse was acquitted of all charges connected to the shootings after he testified he acted in self-defense.
