MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — The DNR is looking for Earth Day volunteers to help get state parks ready for the year.
It’s part of their Work Play Earth Day program, and Missy VanLanduyt says they’ll be doing trail maintenance at Kohler-Andre and Governor Nelson State Parks.
“They’re asking folks to just wear shoes, or boots with better clothes, long pants, and gloves and to bring any shovels or rakes or things that you have,” said VanLanduyt.
Many locations are focusing on the removal of invasive garlic mustard plants.
