MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — Five people – four of them children – were killed in a crash in Milwaukee.
Police say it happened around 11:30 p.m. Sunday. A 21-month-old girl, two 15-year-old girls, and a 17-year-old boy died in the collision between a minivan and SUV.
The 32-year-old driver of the minivan died at a hospital.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s crash narrative says the minivan was traveling at about 80 miles per hour when the driver went through a red light and struck the SUV.
The driver of the SUV, a 32-year-old woman, was reportedly taken into custody on suspicion of OWI.
