CINCINNATI, OH (WSAU-MetroSource) – The Brewers extended the Reds’ losing streak following a 5-1 victory from Milwaukee. Adrian Houser got the win after pitching seven innings of one run ball.
Andruw Monasterio blasted a three-run homer in the first inning while Victor Caratini also went yard in the fifth.
Milwaukee is on a three-game win streak and is first in the NL Central at 32-and-27. Ben Lively got the loss for Cincy, which has lost four games in a row.
The Brewers will go for the series sweep tonight. Julio Teheran gets the start opposite Andrew Abbott. Game coverage begins at 5:35pm CT on WSAU.
