WASHINGTON DC (WSAU) – A new Economist and YouGov poll found that Democratic candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr is currently the most favorable presidential candidate in the 2024 race.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. scored a net favorability rating of 19 points, or 49 percent, according to the poll that was released on Wednesday. The Hill also reports that only 30% of respondents gave him a negative rating.
Both former president Trump (R) and President Biden (D) tied for second place with 44 percent of respondents favoring each of them. However, according to the data, Trump scored a minus-10 net favorability rating while Biden received a minus-9.
33 percent of respondents had a good opinion of Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), while 25 percent had an unfavorable opinion. Vivek Ramaswamy, an IT entrepreneur, received 26% favorable and 19% unfavorable opinions.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is the son of former Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy and the nephew of former Democratic President John F. Kennedy. He is a well-known environmental lawyer who raised concerns about the safety of Covid-19 vaccinations in his best-selling book “The Real Anthony Fauci: Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health.”
According to the poll, President Biden’s approval rating is currently at 42%, with only 24% of overall respondents and 17% of independents stating that they want President Biden to run for re-election.
