NEW YORK, NY (WSAU-MetroSouce) – The Brewers got a great pitching performance from their bullpen in a 5-2 victory over the Mets in Flushing. Bryse Wilson earned the win after pitching an inning-and-two-thirds of scoreless relief. Four other bullpen arms combined to give up just two more hits as Devin Williams notched his 15th save of the season in the ninth.
Christian Yelich and Jesse Winker each drove in a pair of runs for Milwaukee, which improved to 42-and-38.
The Brewers will try to win the series tonight. Game coverage from New York begins at 5:35pm CT on WSAU.
