MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Bucks were hoping to maintain their strong Summer League start against the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night but offensive struggles lead to a 92-71 loss.
Milwaukee shot just 37.5% from the field, 25.0% from three, and 59.3% from the free-throw line. With 11 points, including three three-pointers, Lindell Wigginton led the Bucks in scoring in the first half. Milwaukee struggled to establish any sort of rhythm from downtown in the first half going 5-for-16.
MarJon Beauchamp, who was averaging 21.5 points per game in the first two Summer League games, had a difficult outing. He attempted just five shoots throughout his 23 minutes of play and failed to make any.
The Bucks will return to action tomorrow against the Miami Heat in a must-win game to keep their playoff hopes alive. Tip-off will be at 4:30 p.m. CT on NBATV.
