MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ-METRO) – There will be eight Republicans on the debate stage at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee tomorrow, but Donald Trump won’t be one of them.
The Republican Party yesterday said North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum, former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, former Ambassador Nikki Haley, former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, former Vice President Mike Pence, Vivek Ramaswamy, South Carolina Senator Tim Scott qualified for tomorrow night’s debate.
Each candidate needed over 40 thousand unique donors and to top one percent in a couple of polls. Former President Trump, of course, announced Sunday that he is skipping the debate because of his nearly 50 point lead in the latest polls.
The debate kicks off tomorrow at 8 p.m. on Fox News Channel.
