MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — State Assembly Republicans are taking another try at major tax cuts.
3 billion dollars in cuts were introduced on Tuesday, and Representative Mark Born says they target retirees and the middle class.
“This is something that I think is a really important opportunity for Wisconsin to be more competitive with other states, especially our neighbor to the south,” said Born.
Republicans also are proposing a constitutional amendment that would require two-thirds votes in the legislature on any bill that would raise taxes.
