MENOMINEE (WTAQ-WRN) — First Lady Jill Biden visits the Menominee Nation tomorrow.
On the day after Indigenous Peoples Day in Wisconsin, the First Lady will tour the Menominee Tribal Enterprises’ sawmill in Neopit, to learn about the tribe’s sustainable forest management.
Biden will also visit the College of Menominee Nation in Keshena to learn about the Menominee’s approach to community education and sustainable development.
She’ll also participate in the Women’s Empowerment Summit at the college.
