WASHINGTON (Reuters) – A U.S. judge on Monday imposed some limits on Donald Trump’s public statements about people involved in the federal case accusing him of attempting to overturn his 2020 presidential election defeat, partially granting a request from prosecutors.
U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan prohibited Trump from targeting U.S. special counsel Jack Smith, federal prosecutors and court staff, and barred him from discussing the testimony of potential witnesses.
