RIB MOUNTAIN, WI (WSAU) – A popular food market is looking into opening a location in Rib Mountain.
According to the agenda, the grocery chain’s representative has asked the village’s Plan Commission to have a pre-application discussion during the meeting on Wednesday at 5 p.m. at the village municipal building.
The representative has given the committee early site drawings to discuss, which include a convenience store with an oil change station and a car wash in addition to a 239,000-square-foot grocery store with 610 parking places next to Aldi and Goodwill. There are no official development plans on file at this time.
To move forward with plans for Chick-fil-A and Chipotle Mexican Grill restaurants, the Plan Commission will also debate a development group’s request on Wednesday to rezone properties at 225421 Rib Mountain Drive, 152531 Menton Lane, and a portion of the Menton Lane right-of-way.
Appleton, Green Bay, and Eau Claire are currently Woodman’s closest locations.
