Wisconsin Badgers
MADISON, WI (WSAU) – Tawee Walker, a transfer running back from Oklahoma who served as the team’s lead back in 2023, has committed to the Badgers.
Walker, who stands at roughly 5-10 and weighs 215 pounds, rushed for 513 yards in the fall, including seven touchdowns, averaging an amazing five yards per carry, according to Badgers 247. There was an off-the-field incident last season where he did serve “an in-house suspension” for a disagreement he had with a member of the OU coaching staff.
He will join a talented running back room in Madison, which will include four-star recruit Darrion Dupree, four-star recruit Dilin Jones, and three-star recruit Gideon Ituka. Veteran back Chez Mellusi is also returning to Wisconsin next season after missing most of this past season with a fractured fibula.
