MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Milwaukee Bucks may be without one of their defensive leaders for the remainder of the season.
Recently acquired guard Patrick Beverley said on The Pat Bev Pod that he will need surgery to repair a torn ligament in his right wrist, which would sideline him for three to four months.
According to The Athletics’ Eric Nehm, Beverley is expected to try to play on Thursday night vs New Orleans after intently being listed on the team’s injury report as questionable.
In his 19 games with the Bucks, Beverley is averaging 5.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2.2 assists. The Bucks haven’t released any official information regarding his status as of yet, but the team has a 13-6 record since acquiring him from the 76ers on February 8th.
