MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Milwaukee Bucks will be without star point guard Damian Lillard for the second straight game on Tuesday due to a right groin injury.
According to The Athletic’s Eric Nehm, Lillard is the only core player the Bucks are expected to miss, as both Giannis Antetokounmpo (hamstring) and Khris Middleton (ankle sprain) are probable to play.
The Bucks are coming off a strong win over the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday night without Lillard. He’s struggled to find his rhythm offensively over the last week, as he’s averaged only 19.3 points, shooting 36.8 percent from the floor and 32 percent from three.
Milwaukee is expected to target Lillard’s return to the court on Wednesday when the team heads home to play the Memphis Grizzlies.
