MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Milwaukee Bucks may be without Giannis Antetokounmpo for Sunday’s Game 1 against the Indiana Pacers.
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Bucks have “real doubt” that Giannis will be available by Sunday due to a calf injury.
In 2023–24, the two-time MVP was outstanding yet again, averaging 30.4 points, 11.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game, and the Bucks have struggled against Indiana this season, losing four out of five matchups this season.
A large reason for the Bucks’ issues against Indiana is their lack of defensive effort and inability to hold the Pacers under 120 points in a game, allowing a whopping 142 points to Indiana in their last meeting.
