MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Milwaukee Brewers have announced that one of their all-time great players will be inducted into the franchise Walk of Fame.
According to a post on X, on Sunday, July 28th, when the Brewers host the Miami Marlins, former MVP and Rookie of the Year Ryan Braun will receive the honor, making him the 23rd player in franchise history to be inducted after being named to the team’s Wall of Fame back in 2021.
The Walk of Fame has been a franchise staple since 2001, with the inaugural class featuring all-time greats like Hank Aaron, Rollie Fingers, Paul Molitor, and Robin Yount. Each stone is etched with the inductee’s signature, uniform number (if relevant), and years of service. Braun will become the third Brewer to receive the distinction since 2018, following Prince Fielder (2022) and Ben Sheets (2023).
