PARK FALLS, WI (WSAU) — A 50-year-old man is expected to be charged with homicide in connection with the death of a Park Falls woman earlier this month.
Christopher Dyer is being held in the Price County jail on a $1 million bond. The State Department of Justice is expected to bring charges against him soon.
The arrest stems from the death of a person on Saturday, April 13th in an area of 2nd Avenue in Park Falls. When officers arrived they found the victim, who had multiple gunshot wounds.
A weapon was recovered from the scene, though no suspects were named at that time.
Officers add that there is no danger to the public.
Further details regarding the investigation have not been released, including what led officers to the 50-year-old Dyer. Court action against him is pending.
