WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) – Wisconsin’s U.S. Senate race and presidential race in the state are still close as election day approaches the six-month mark.
According to the latest Emerson/The Hill poll, Baldwin leads Eric Hovde by three points, which is within the poll’s 2.9% margin of error, and former President Trump leads Biden by 3.2% in Wisconsin with leaners or five points overall.
This is just the latest poll showing a tight race between Baldwin and Hovde after the latest Marquette Law poll showed Hovde and Tammy Baldwin are tied among likely voters, which was a three-point swing in favor of Hovde since their last poll.
Former President Trump has rebounded in the Badger State in recent polls, as the Real Clear Politics average has Trump up over Biden by 1.8% currently, and the latest CBS New Polls show Trump leading in Wisconsin by around a point as well.
