The Wausau School Board will get the results of a recent survey from the Donovan Group regarding the public appetite for a potential operating referendum question this November.
The board approved the survey in April and residents were asked to take it in May. The consultants have spent the last few weeks processing the date.
This comes as the District faces a significant budget shortfall. Superintendent Keith Hilts has previously told WSAU News they’ve already eliminated more than 20 staff positions, despite that they’re still looking at a multi-million dollar deficit.
Representatives from the Donovan Group will present the survey during Monday’s regular board meeting, which will begin at 5:00 PM at the District’s administration building. Click here for the agenda.
