EAU CLAIRE, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — Dueling campaign stops in Eau Claire on Wednesday.
Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris, who last week secured enough delegate votes to become her party’s presidential nominee, had already scheduled a visit to Eau Claire.
On Monday, the Trump-Vance campaign announced that Donald Trump’s running mate, Ohio US Senator JD Vance “will deliver remarks to the press” at Wollard International at 1 p.m.
Wollard is an Eau Claire based manufacturer of airport ground support equipment.
Harris’ most recent Wisconsin visit was in the Milwaukee area July 24, just after she became her party’s presumptive presidential nominee when President Joe Biden dropped out.
