CONLEY COMMENTARY (WSAU) – Kamala Harris has not had a sit-down interview yet where she’s answered actual questions from a real, live journalist.
Some of the questions that haven’t been asked, or answered, yet:
You tweeted the fundraising link for the Minnesota Freedom Project – they bail violent protesters out of jail. One of their baileees killed a man in St. Paul once he got out. Do you regret helping to fund them?
You’ve proposed decriminalizing illegally crossing our border and defunding ICE. Do you have a plan for removing people who are in the country illegally?
After the killing of George Floyd, you supported the defund the police movement. Do you still?
It’s been reported that you had a secret meeting with Abdullah H. Hammoud, the mayor of Dearborn, Michigan. Did he suggest what you must do to win the Muslim vote in his city?
Protesters outside your convention in Chicago demanded an arms embargo against Israel. Would you deny American firepower to our ally, Israel?
If elected, would you try to enact parts of the Green New Deal by executive order?
If elected, would you enact Diversity, Equity, and Inclusiveness programs by executive order?
Is Joe Biden mentally competent to continue serving as President of the United States? Have you ever seen him as less-than-sharp or drifting while performing his official duties?
You’ve begun to distance yourself from some of Joe Biden’s economic policies. Why were you unable to get them changed over the last 3 1/2 years for his administration?
You say the rich should pay their fair share. What percentage of their incomes should the federal government take in the name of fairness?
Should there be any limits on when a woman can end a pregnancy, even up to the moments before birth?
I predict when Kamala finally agrees to an interview, she’ll pick the most liberal-friendly questioner she can find: Rachael Maddow or Oprah Winfrey are possibilities. I guarantee that none of those questions will even be asked.
