GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – In a game where neither team played their starters, the Green Bay Packers beat the Baltimore Ravens in pre-season, 30-7.
The Ravens turned the ball over four times, one was a scoop-and-score touchdown in the first half.
The Packers still appear undecided on their opening-day kicker and their back-up quarterback. Greg Joseph was 2-for-2 on field goal tries, hitting from 55 and 36-yards. Anders Carlson made a 54-yarder on the opening drive of the game, but missed from 32-yards away in the fourth quarter.
In the competition for back-up quarterback, rookie Michael Pratt (8-for-12, 80 yards) was more efficient than Sean Clifford (6-of-14, 53 yards). Both quarterbacks threw a touchdown pass. Pratt was intercepted once.
The Packers open their regular season on Friday, September 6 in San Paulo, Brazil against the Philadelphia Eagles. Teams need to make roster cuts by Tuesday, August 27.
