MADISON, WI (WSAU) – The Wisconsin Badgers will be down a big man this upcoming season as Serbian center Andrija Vukovic announced on Monday that he will no longer be joining the program.
According to Jon Chepkevich of Draft Express, Vukovic will instead be joining the Oklahoma State Cowboys for the 2024 season after a passport issue that is believed to be more university-related prompted Vukovic to no longer end up in Wisconsin.
Standing at 6’11, 265 pounds, Vukovic would have been a valuable addition to the Badgers as Wisconsin spent the offseason looking for additional frontcourt depth behind Steven Crowl and Nolan Winter. Wisconsin will instead look toward true freshman Italian big man Ricardo Greppe to take over that backup role this season.
