TOWN OF ELDERON, WI (WSAU) — An early morning crash between a school bus and a passenger vehicle in the Town of Elderon has left one person injured.
Officials say it happened near the intersection of Country Road II and Red Ceder Drive. There were about 20 students on board the bus, none of whom were injured.
The driver of the second vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries. They are being treated at a local hospital.
All students were released to their parents or picked up on a different bus to be taken to their final destination.
Responding agencies included the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office, Wisconsin State Patrol, Hatley Fire and EMS, Riverside ALS, Wittenberg EMS, and the Wittenberg School District.
