PHILADELPHIA, PA (WSAU) — Vice President Kamala Harris and Donald Trump covered many issues during their debate on ABC Tuesday night.
On the economy Harris said she will expand child tax credits and other programs for working class Americans. She said the Biden administration was left a poor economy by Trump but it has rebounded over the last four years. Trump claimed that illegal immigrants are taking American jobs and the last four years have been a disaster.
Trump is also not ready to concede he lost the last election saying that there was “so much proof” that we need good elections. Harris responded that Trump is having a hard time dealing with being fired by 81-million people. She also said that his continous denial, despite court cases showing otherwise, shows the American people deserve better.
Harris also called out Trump for inciting the Jan 6th attacks on the Capitol while Trump said that Russia would never have invaded Ukraine if he was President.
