STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — A 47-year-old Stevens Point man died in a motorcycle crash on Thursday.
According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, the man was riding northbound on Wilshire Boulevard near North Point Drive at about noon when he lost control. The motorcycle left the roadway and crashed into the east ditch.
Investigators say the man was not wearing a helmet. He was the only person involved in the crash.
No further information has been released including the man’s name and whether alcohol or speed were factors in the incident.
