GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – Quarterback Jordan Love was back at practice on Wednesday, marking his fourth straight practice that he was active following his Week One MCL injury.
According to Packers reporter Mike Spofford, both Love and second-year cornerback Carrington Valentine were back at practice on Wednesday, while first-round pick Jordan Morgan remains out with the shoulder injury he suffered during the Packers’ 16-10 Week Two win over the Colts.
Love practiced Wednesday through Friday last week on a limited basis but was ruled out against Tennessee shortly before kickoff, while Valentine also missed the game against the Titans due to an ankle injury. However, Valentine’s return to the field on Wednesday signals that he’ll likely return to action on Sunday.
As it currently stands, both BetMGM and FanDuel have the Packers as 2.5-point favorites against the Vikings due to the assumption that Love will be under center on Sunday with an over/under set at 43.5 total points. Through the first three weeks of the season, the Vikings are 3-0 against the spread while the Packers are 2-1, while the over has hit twice for Packers games so far and zero times for the Vikings.
Meanwhile, Prize Picks has the over/under for Love’s passing yards at 238.5 and his touchdown passes at 1.5, which will be difficult due to Minnesota allowing only two passing touchdowns and the 6th fewest points to opposing quarterbacks so far this season, but the Vikings have been generous in yards allowed to opposing quarterbacks at 239.3 per game, which is the 6th most in the league.
