TOWN OF EAU PLEINE, WI (WSAU) — One person has died after a crash near the intersection of State Highway 153 and County Highway E in the Town of Eau Pleine.
Two vehicles collided at about 10:30 this morning, according to investigators. One driver was pronounced dead, a second person was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A crash reconstruction team is still working in the area and traffic has been detoured to alternate routes.
The Wisconsin State Patrol, Spencer Police Department, Stratford Police Department, Stratford Fire/EMS, and the Marathon County Medical Examiner’s Office are among the agencies assisting.
