GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – As the Green Bay Packers get ready to play the Vikings on Sunday, head coach Matt LaFleur is keeping the status of Jordan Love a secret for the second straight week.
While speaking to the media on Thursday, LaFleur said that the Packers will give Love “up to game time” on Sunday to determine if he is ready to return after he injured his MCL against the Eagles in Brazil. CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones reports that the Vikings have been preparing for both Love and backup Malik Willis to start on Sunday in case he can’t be cleared to go.
In addition, Love informed reporters on Wednesday that he was “building” up his workload and was “close” to playing in the Packers’ Week Three 16-10 victory over the Titans. Love is expected to be listed as questionable on Friday’s final injury report.
