NEW YORK, NY (WSAU) – The Las Vegas Raiders have agreed to a blockbuster deal that would reunite two Packers all-time greats in the Big Apple.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, six-time Pro Bowl Davante Adams (31) has been traded to the New York Jets for a 2025 third-round pick that could become a second-round pick if Adams meets certain requirements while with the Jets.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter added that the Jets have also agreed to take on the remainder of Adams’ contract that he signed with Las Vegas after being traded from Green Bay. Adams is scheduled to make $35.6 million in 2025 and $44.1 million in 2026.
With an NFL-high 14 touchdowns and 100 receptions for 1,516 yards, Adams was an All-Pro with Green Bay in 2022. He’s averaging less than 12 yards per grab and 70 yards each game ever since.
