WAUKESHA, WI (WSAU)— Republican Vice Presidential candidate J.D. Vance will return to Wisconsin this weekend as campaigns prepare to enter the home stretch of the White House race.
According to a news release from the campaign, Vance will speak to voters in Waukesha at 5 p.m. on Sunday at Stein’s Aero, which is located near the Waukesha Airport.
Attendees will enter the venue with tickets beginning at 3 p.m., with the event scheduled to start at 5. This will mark Vance’s sixth visit to the state since former President Trump named him as his running mate in July.
The press release adds that Vance, who converted to Catholicism in 2019, will be speaking about issues facing people of faith during the event and will highlight the campaign plan to properly represent Christians in Washington, D.C. if elected during next month’s presidential election.
